I have dinned here a few times now. The most authentic, welcoming Italian experience. The food is amazing, the service is prompt quick, and the value is the best in the city. The dishes are fresh, and the wine menu complements the food menu well. The best part is the family that runs the restaurant is welcoming and take the time to chat with you during and after dinner, especially the one gentleman. It’s hard to beat this type of experience. Must try.
First time visiting L'Artista, it's a nice small Italian restaurant. Nice simple decor. We loved the atmosphere, was very lively on this Saturday night. Staff was all very friendly. Food was great all around. Pasta dishes, great presentation and flavor. None of the dishes were over powered with too much sauce or salt. My youngest son loved the bread they served and unfortunately ate too much of it. Be warned to not eat too much bread before main course! Added bonus was that it was my other sons birthday and they provided a free tiramisu for him to enjoy. Great touch. We'll definitely be back again.

For the middle course, the rigatoni was cooked to perfection, al dente just as it should be, and the entrée of chicken Parmigiano was a true highlight, served with beautifully prepared fresh spinach, carrots, and potatoes. Good Italian Restaurant in North Burnaby, food was authentic and fresh. The menu had good variety and catered to our different tastes. We enjoyed it and would return. The lasagna in particular was very tasty and the tomato sauce was full of flavour.
Highly recommend getting a reservation! The food is absolutely amazing and near authentic Italian. The service was so great, friendly staff and timely service. We showed up without a reservation and even though they were booked they found a way to get us right in. Absolutely loved this place and we would definitely go again!
Food took 15 minutes but it was worth it the pasta was great. The restaurant is family run and they are all very nice we got sat straight away very nice tables. Highly recommended coming here for dinner.
We had the Linguine Ai Gamberoni and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara which were both amazing! The prawns were massive and cooked to perfection. The sauces were amazing and had so much depth in their flavour. Would highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Italian pasta!
We went on a Thursday and it was packed. The food was so good and excellent service. Not our first visit but definitely a great meal! We had the veal, gnocchi, pasta feature, and a steak. All excellent. Amazing service too!
